The AP Artshow will be on April 11 in the Piedmont Center for the Arts. The 19 2D Art and two 3D Art students have worked all year to create 12 pieces of artwork revolving around their chosen concentrations.

Some of the concentrations include senior Julia Caldwell’s “food photography”, senior Josh Woodley’s “dragons”, and senior Luke Johnson’s “interstellar Mesoamericans.”

“I’m imagining a world in which a coalition of central Mexican cultures embark on an interstellar voyage of discovery,” Johnson said.

Senior Delevan Tam’s concentration was a series of linoleum prints of people who have affected how he has developed as a person.

Art teacher Gillian Bailey is confident in her students, saying that “they are very ready for the show.”
